Food was delicious! All BBQ is over priced in my opinion. It usually all tastes the same to me. Pecan lodge was a bit different. The flavors were a great surprise. I’d expect better seating options for the price range. I would not have a chair in this condition in my dining room. Everything else was great. Staff was super friendly and on point!

We absolutely loved this place!! The vibe was rustic and cool. The staff was friendly and clear in their questions. The food was outstanding! We recommend the pulled pork sandwich, the pork ribs, and the brisket. The Mac n cheese comes with bacon but was nothing special and the coleslaw was awesome with a little heat! We will definitely return!!

Previously an Old town favorite. After doing some regional BBQ tasting recon, returned unimpressed w/ how dry the brisket was. Sides were good. Ribs were awesome. Fried ribs, not so much. Overall, I left with a sense of complacency, that they are content on pumping out meats compared to tender love and care as before. Still a good Q. Gotta try the sausage. Service is amazing . Must try in the area.

We had heard and read the hype about the Pecan Lodge so when we came to Dallas from Ohio, this was on our must see list. We were also aware there could be a wait and maybe food would run out before we got inside. Luckily, we walked right in, ordered and got our food very fast. It was delicious! I didn’t even need bbq sauce for the pulled pork it was that good! The potato salad was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the sausage and brisket which was also amazing! the mac n cheese was so good and had a little kick to it. I’m a little picky on lemonade because it can be too tart for me. Their lemonade are was perfect!! Thank you for the experience and the amazing food and service.

Came last night for dinner. As usual, the meat were soft and rich, very flavorful. Don’t have to drive to Austin for the BBQs. We got a great one here. I especially loved their sausage, best one I’ve had. Sides were good too, wished there was cream corn here though.

Our friends told us that this was the best burger place in Dallas and they were CORRECT. All of the food and sides are delicious. The staff is very knowledgeable about their menu and very attentive to your needs. This is a great place to grab a bite, hand with friends, or grab a drink after work.

The loaded cheese fries are a meal themselves!! They were crispy, loaded with cheese & bacon, and ohhh so scrumptious! The Pile on burger switched with the vegan patty is a MUST try! By far the BEST vegan patty I’ve ever had (that even includes when I travelled Australia!) Our server was absolutely the best! I wish I could remember his name. All I know was he was training someone tonight and we were out on the patio. The view, the location, the SERVICE, the FOOD, and the pricing was all on point!! Hands down the BEST place to get a burger & loaded fries in Texas!!

I’ve been here quite a few times over the years and not once has it disappointed – I’ve had a different burger almost every visit (in the ballpark of 8-10 times?) and they’ve all been great!
The outdoor patio is a comfortable place for a chill evening and I’m glad to see they offer a few different (very good!) non-alcoholic beers, as well.
This round I had the Royale with Cheese, cause it’s a classic line! But I added shredded lettuce and pickles which was money. More fries than I can possibly finish.

This is a very popular spot so parking is tricky but when I tell you it was worth it! Best vegan burger I’ve ever had, they do not skimp on the fries, and the cocktails are great! We went on a Friday night and there was about a 30m wait but were sat immediately outside (they have fans and there was no direct sunlight!). Great service. Can’t rave enough!

Super popular place in Dallas, so expect to wait to be seated as it’s almost always packed. The hamburgers are huge and the flavors are unique.

    Update 1/13/22
Decided to have birthday dinner here and it wasn’t as pleasant as our first visit. The waitress (Skylar?) has zero personality and customer service. What made that even worse is we had a big group so she got a $50 tip for doing the bare minimum. My family brought a cake for my birthday and we were told we could not cut/serve it ourselves, they would have to do it for a fee of $25. $25 to cut the cake that I brought!!?? Absurd! The only thing that was cut was our evening, we ended up having to take the cake back home to finish the celebration. Really sad about this.

First visit here. Ordered burger, chicken fried steak, taters, Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. We also got lucky and went on Throwdown Thursday and had half price drinks! The perfect margarita was really good and the cocktails were delicious!

Amazing place! Unique menu. Everything is done to perfection. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and they are in a terrific location in the West End. They have a full bar and a coffee bar. The lattes were excellent. The menu has a fresh and creative twist with things like the pancake pot pie and fried tomatoes Benedict. Everything from the service to the food quality and service was spot on. It is definitely worth a visit.

Found this purely by accident but what a find. Great for brunch or breakfast all day. It also seemed like you could just pop in for food but also bring in the whole crew for drinks and dinner.
We did some late (real late) breakfast and brunch. Good eggs and chicken salad. Definitely want to try this place again for dinner and drinks.
Jesus was a great waiter! He made it a great experience.

Worth the wait! Took us an hour to get seated but the food was DELICIOUS. I love French Toast and this place has one of the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention the syrup brand used made me find it and order online. The one thing I would say was not up to par were the mashed potatoes, probably the only thing that tasted like a “just add water” product. Other than that, definitely recommend!

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Such a great blend of flavor and good sized portions for the price. The blood orange mimosa was to die for. To tie together this great experience the service here was the best I’ve had in a long time. Our server frank was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we visit Dallas.
