The day we went the beach was covered in seaweed, but we still enjoyed it.
There were lots of shells to discover, and the water is shallow for a long ways out, so the kids can play safely in the water (even in August the water is a bit cool compared to beaches farther south, but it felt fine once you got all the way in).

Lots of free parking along the beach.

Jaw dropping beauty. The smell of the ocean is abundant and there was plenty of parking when we visited at 7am. No doubt it gets packed during afternoons but mornings at the beach are a special time. We really enjoyed it!

Beatiful beach. Water is cold even in July. Only 64 degrees. I still went out in the water for a short time. It’s so clear you can see to the bottom even shoulder deep. Lots of shells laying around in the shallows.

Revere beach is America’s first public beach. It’s a beautiful beach. It’s clean and sandy. Very crowded on weekends in summer. Parking is free on roadside except during sand sculpture festival when roads are closed. International sand sculpture festival and fireworks are the best event happens on Revere beach each year in summer (mostly in July).

Loved the sand sculptures! The beach needs to clean all the broken clam shells and rocks. I had a good time over all with the sites and live bands, and the wide variety of eats.

Beautiful beach for plane spotting. Maintained by DCR, this beach has free parking, restrooms, a concession stand and great sights of planes landing and taking off from Logan airport. The water is shallow and calm – so perfect for a family evening out.

Neighborhood beach with locals – no tourists around here – which is right across from the airport.
Surprisingly, the water is clean and supposedly safe to swim in.
And it’s pretty too, nice colors for the sunset sometimes.
Never really crowded, and it is pretty cool to see the planes land and take off right across. Can be a little loud depending on the direction of the wind…

Nice clean beach with great views of the logan aiport. Each and every minute (especially in evening times) there could be a plane landing or flying and with a great camera you could take some decent shots, so great place for plane spotters! For the others this could also be a place to hangout or have a walk but don’t think you can swim on it.

I loved this place for my small kiddos. The water was pretty shallow, so my 6 yr old was pleased to be able to go out almost as far as the rope barriers hehe. The waves never got very big which was perfect for them.
I love the ample parking, and access to restrooms. The beach is short distance to the bathrooms so very convenient.
There is a grassy area as well, with shade from trees which was sweet to sit under in the heat and have our lunch.
We will definitely be back again 🙂

Definitely one of the better Boston area beaches for swimming laps. The water is calm, clean, and there’s soft sand throughout… There’s a parking lot and looks like a T-station is not too far away… 👍👍👍🤙 #EastBoston #CrossTrainingSummer

Nice little beach in a cove. It has a sandy beach and grassy shaded areas with plenty of benches. Next to McConnell Park which is undergoing renovations so no play ground as of June 2022.

When visiting my nephew, we walked here every day. He played in the sand and water. Great for a toddler. It’s not what I’d call a beach. The water is nasty at certain times. There’s trash scattered about.

Good place to take a walk and get some sun. The environment is serene for a quiet time.

Nice waterfront. Lots of seating area. A park nearby is good for children but its also fun to chill by yourself or ride a bike.

Great place to enjoy time by the water. It’s a park with playground and walking path on the shore. Anyone can explore and enjoy including small children and dogs. It’s fairly clean but you find some rubbish or micro plastics scattered along. Be kind and pick up one piece before you leave and it will be better for everyone.
