Everything about it was perfect. The food was excellent especially the rack of lamb which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Manny was very friendly and pleasant and tended to Everything. Even the floor managers were pleasant and helpful. The salad bar was delicious with more than just ordinary things on it and the desserts we had were delicious as well. Would definitely go again.

We will continue to eat here as they never disappoint. Always treated with such great respect and love the environment. From the hostess to the waiters everyone is so amazing. The meat is just so flavorful unspectacular with the seasoning. If I could eat here everytime I would..

what a great restaurant!!! I recommend it without a doubt!! what a pleasant experience..
The attention from the entrance was super good, nice and friendly people, the attention of the different waiters who came to the table was more than excellent,
impeccable, the professionalism of the staff is surprising, the impressive coordination, the attention is noticeable at all times, my wife does not eat red meat and they offered her personalized attention by cooking a chicken breast with lemon and
Pepper, the boy who makes the coffees and prepares the liqueurs, super cordial and supreme attention, very professional.
In short, they take care of every detail and are super attentive and cordial, they make you feel very good..
I will come back again without hesitation.

My husband and I just had our date night here last night and it was such an amazing Brazilian steakhouse! The food was beyond perfect and we had an amazing waiter. My husband and I really enjoyed all the meats and cheesecake for dessert. Definitely will visit again! Highly recommend for anyone. Can’t wait to go back!!

This was by far the best Churrascaria restaurant I have been to. Service was spectacular, waiters extremely courteous, gauchos were fast and considerate and friendly. The meats were cooked perfectly, soft and flavorful. The market bar had great offerings, favs were the Caesar salad, mushrooms, pickled onion/jalapeno mix, and the balsamic quality they have is superb. I would certainly return again and can’t wait!

Always such an incredible place to eat and drink. Everything on the menu is absolutely fantastic! You can’t go wrong here! Best food in town, hands down! Highly recommend the fondue!

Expect a crowd because Pappadeaux is always busy. The crowd comes for the Cajun and Creole flavors that Pappadeaux almost gets right. The seafood is the strong suit. Every piece of salmon, shrimp, and red smells great and tastes even better. The fried seafood is crunchy and not overly oiled. The gumbo and rice options are reminiscent of New Orleans, though maybe not exactly on point. You’ll have a great meal.

This restaurant is always crowded regardless what time you go. Sat at bar for 30 minutes before table available. Marjaritas were awesome. Fried shrimp and snapper were very good. Portions were very large.

Great dinner experience! Went for dinner on a weeknight and the place was packed with 1 hour wait for a table. We went to the bar to order drinks and ended up having dinner there. Manny took great care of us. The seafood platter was enough to feed two. Great food, great service, great company. Highly recommended.

The fondue appetizer is the best. We could have made a meal out of it. It is served with garlic bread. Cost is about 20.00 but well worth every penny. It will easily feed 2 -3 people. We also had the shrimp poboy, delicious! It was my sisters birthday so they gave her a free desert. She choose the cheesecake with strawberries. It was delicious.
Our waiter was Meme and she was the best. Such a sweet person and very attentative to our needs. Wonderful experience!

We tried this place for Lunch while in the area, we were greeted right away and seated immediately. Our server quickly got our drink order and then our food order. I ordered Octoberfest Sampler which was fantastic, my partner ordered the Chicken and dumplings which were delicious. Our server Amanda was excellent. We enjoyed the in house made root beer. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms, cannot wait to go back and try the breakfast.

This restaurant kept coming up in my searches for “Must Visit Restaurants in San Antonio”. Unfortunately, we just were not impressed. We waited 30 minutes to be seated on a Monday around noon. It took our server quite some time to make her way to our table once seated. We got the deviled eggs as an app(that came after our meals were served…) and they lacked flavor. My husband and daughter had sausages that they thought were decent but the fries were severely undercooked. I had the reuben which was good but kind of small for the price. Our service was definitely lacking with no drink refills and no one ever checking on us after our food was delivered despite one of the sausages being wrong. My daughter just ate it anyway as we were tired of waiting.
I do want to say that we did speak with a manager who was very apologetic, comped our meal and even gave us a slice of cheesecake for dessert. Excellent customer service from her! Hence the 4 stars instead of the 3 I would have given.

We are visiting from out of town, but we’d definitely come back. There was a 20-30 minute wait for our party of 3 around 11:30am. We put our name on a list with the hostess and were directed to wait outside for our name to be called. Once we were seated, we were promptly greeted by our server, Thor. He was wonderful the entire time. I ended up getting a veggie sandwich and a side pancake. The pancake was AMAZING and the veggie sandwich was very fresh. My husband and my FIL both got a Reuben sandwich and enjoyed it. Based on reviews, we all got a mug of root beer and were very happy with the decision to do so. It came in an ice cold mug and was nice and creamy.

This was a fun place to eat. It is the oldest restaurant in San Antonio and had a warm atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and conversational. They have yummy root beer, sausages and chicken and biscuits. We also liked their club sandwich. It is a great location to the Alamo and river walk.

Really good overall. Came here as it was close to our hotel to discover that its truly a gem of a spot. Enjoyed some biscuit and gravy with fried chicken. Everyone else also had a great plate of food that can be summed up as yummy. Didn’t get the root beer but not regretting as many said its really good there.
