We had 3 variations of their ponyshoe ham, hamburger and supreme. (Supreme is crumbled burger, bacon, green onions, tomatoes, and side of hot sauce.) All served hot and fresh. White cheese sauce was absolutely the best. Large portions and reasonably priced. Great quality food and pleasant wait staff.

It was our first time here. I started off with a Frozen Nutty Irishman drink. SO GOOD! We got the cheese nuggets as an appetizer. They were alright. I tried the pizza which was really good. I ordered a pot roast horseshoe for myself, and it was awesome! I’d definitely recommend it. The roast was juicy and tender and all of the cheese and fries were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

Came here during a road trip from Kansas City to Chicago and was told by my travel partner about, “horseshoe sandwiches.” This is the first I’ve ever heard of or tasted a horseshoe sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. I chose Nashville hot chicken for my meat with spicy cheese sauce and it was flavorful and tasty! I also had a tasty local beer recommended by our super friendly waitress. I would rarely find myself in Springfield being from Kansas City, but I’d love to come back some day and share this meal with someone who hasn’t had the experience. Thanks for the great food and hospitality!

The horseshoes here really are phenomenal and worth your time. The cheese sauce has a unique flavor and the meat selections are numerous. I always get the breaded tenderloin and it’s always what everyone at the table considered the best. In a lot of ways, though, this spot is kind of like a one-trick pony. If you stray outside of what their famous for (the horseshoes), it’s a coin toss as to whether it’ll be worth it. They have a lot of options on their menu, but it’s hard to do that many things well. For instance, we got a bbq chicken pizza this go round, and while it wasn’t bad, it was certainly nothing to write home about. But the ambiance of the place is fun, balancing nicely between a midwestern bar and an Irish pub. And the staff is always welcoming and pleasant. It has a great vibe. Give the place a chance and it’s likely you won’t be disappointed, especially if you stick with getting a horseshoe.

it came highly recommended so we tried it. Famous for their Horseshoe but honestly it didn’t really appeal to me. The menu has a great variety to choose from. Our waitress was super friendly. All the food was good. Nachos. Black and Bleu salad. Grilled chicken Smoked gouda chipotle apple butter sandwich.

We got to Bones late. It was 12:35am. Had enough time to make our order and get a few delicious bite in before we packed it up and took it back to the hotel. lol. The food was good and tender. I would like to go back when we have more time to enjoy the atmosphere.

This was the perfect Sunday dinner w/ family and friends. I would say to have the meatloaf dinner if you like a savory meal. The Strawberry Blushing Sangria Pitcher was the icing that topped the cake. Diabetics, make sure to water it down after receiving tho, you’ll thank me later. Appetizers were on point. The smoked wings were my fav appetizer. Every dish was hot, fresh, and melted in my mouth! I can’t wait to visit again! We may just make this a monthly tradition. Worth every penny!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I paid almost $60 for maybe $20 worth of food. A $20 burger that was supposed to be loaded came with nothing. My pulled pork looked like a kids portion at best. The fried pickles were the only good thing about the whole meal. Very disappointed, we’re from out of town and wanted to try something new and it was a huge let down.

Me and my husband like going here for dinners dates my husband usually gets the smoked salmon. And I usually mix and match from their menu. The place is very chill to be watching sports and enjoy some drinks.

Jen was super nice. Dani was insane. We asked for a specials menu and she lost her mind, left, slammed a menu and we switched servers to Jen. She was super nice and the food was really good but the Dani girl clearly has issues

Very good. I had the breakfast shoe. I had both cheese sauce and sausage gravy. Now that I have tried it, and it’s good that way. I’d probably get all sausage gravy, because I like that just a little more than cheese sauce.
My wife had the “regular” pancake. Well as you can see in the pics it’s huge. About 12″.
We walked right in and sat down Sunday morning at 8:10 We had our food in 5 minutes! I certainly recommend eating here. ENJOY!!

This place is amazing!!! I usually go on Sundays, around noon and the place is always packed. Despite being incredibly busy I’ve never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes max, the food has always been good and the service is great. The crew they have working there work so well together, or at least that’s what it seems like anyway. The best part has always been the service, the waitresses are always really nice, always keep my drink filled and generally have such a pleasant attitude. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Classic diner with delicious breakfast options. Visited with friends from the area and sat in their favorite waitress’s section. She made several suggestions while customizing my breakfast “horse shoe” that were amazing. (Biscuit instead of toast, American fries on top) plus a pecan waffle and helping the keto friend in our group enjoy cottage cheese as a side to his omelette with tomatoes.

Pulled up to this old little hanger and knew we’d be in for a treat. Parking lot was bustling, always a good sign. The warm, rich aromas of breakfast filled the air. There was no wait, and the server was friendly. They have a challenge here that if you eat 4 of the pancakes pictured, they are free. According to the waitress only 3 people have completed the challenge, which comprises of 6 lbs of batter!!! Excellent food and experience, I would definitely stop again.

Excellent! Gabrielle C. took excellent care of us! Her suggestions were spot on. My fried pork-chop was sublime! The space is “classic” small town diner! Is it any wonder Guy Fieri visited Charlie Parkers on DD&D’s?? Amazing prices, amazing food, wonderful service, can’t ask for any more than that!!
