After the pandemic, the quality of food still the same as before. Line up look long but actually not that bad, our wait is around 25mins on a Tuesday. Udon is chewy and the broth is spot on. Love it. The tempura selections increased the price a bit but still acceptable. Portion is generous. Worth the wait and your money.

Best meal we had in Oahu. The Udon is amazing. We loved it so much we ate here twice. Don’t be discouraged by the long line as it tends to move pretty quickly. Everyone seemed to be able to find table seating too, so don’t worry about that either. Highly recommend!

Nice udon and finally found a vegan version 💪 love that they have vegan options
And that it is so affordable with only 8.95$ for the small one (which is plenty).
The broth has no veg only noodles and tofu crumbs which is a bit disappointing
Also it is quite popular so you will have to wait in line – which is fine though. Only thing is that it is more like a diner – so it’s quite hectic inside. They have tempura which is nice and also some spices to add some chili and so on.

Marugame Udon is fun and lively like an Asian market or food hall. Expect a long line for dinner but note it moves fast. Their sweet beef udon is delicious and authentic and pairs well with some of their various tempura options which I had to try them all! Service is excellent too but if you have a group of greater than 4 the seating may be difficult. Check them out!

Its hard to describe how good they are. The food it’s delicious, i never try something like that! The wait line was about ~25-30 minutes, but it’s worth it. Everything its so fresh and tasty. We took Curry Nikutama and we was so satisfied. Definitely will come there again when will be back.

About a 30 min walk from Waikiki beach. You can get there by foot, it’s very easy and plenty to see along the way. Due to COVID-19 you can’t dine in, but you can take your food and eat it inside your car. The food is super delicious, i went back almost everyday during my stay for breakfast because it was super affordable, they pack so much food for one serving and the taste is unbelievable. Everyone working there was very nice and welcoming. I encourage you to go and try it. Better then so many other restaurants near by that will charge you more for less quality of food.

Inexpensive, tasty food at this iconic, Honolulu classic eatery. Definitely try the chili and the mix plate. Have a slush float as well 😋. Good advice is to place an order through their website so you don’t have to wait too long when arriving.

08/31/2022: First visit and I loved it! Wonderful spot frequented by both tourists and the locals. The food didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian plate lunch, go to Rainbow Drive-In! You get a hearty, tasty plate at a very reasonable price.

Really good local spot. It’s not fancy at all but the food is very very good. There is ample parking 🅿️ there and they have picnic tables for you. Their are two lines to order. Their mixed grill is nice with fish 🐠 pork and beef. The fish was super nice and moist. The beef was greatest thing it was thinley sliced but not dry at all it was super moist and flavorful. The loco Moco is really good as well.

I really like their menu options! And decent prices, but certain dishes may seem a little under-seasoned. Not the best outdoor seating, but it’s still a solid place! Try the ice cream slush it’s yummy!

Great atmosphere, food, and service. Our server was Shelby and she was very sweet and attentive. Our little one fell asleep and she helped boxed everything up for us so we could quickly get him back to the hotel. I ordered the shrimp noodles and hubby got the classic cheeseburger. Both were DELICIOUS.

I appreciate an organized hostess station that over estimates that wait time. It starts off the experience honest and shows confidence in their total experience. And it’s nice to be expecting a 20 minute wait and when you’ve only been waiting 10 minutes and the buzzer goes off, you’re actually excited.

The food was quite good but again the staff was the shining point for us. Savannah was fun and attentive.

We are here 3 out of the 4 evenings we spent in Honolulu – great experience each time and at a reasonable price. Fantastic selection of beers, tasty food, and a good vibe with great service. Menu is also really diverse – there is something for everyone. Highly recommend, worth a wait!

An absolutely huge selection of beers on tap, including local, imports and the usual suspects. I was delighted to be able to taste a great IPA from the Big Island.

Also, the food is excellent and they have a great happy hour special.

We chose to eat here because we heard the steaks were awesome and not overly priced. Plus it’s walking distance from our hotel.

We had the 20 oz bone in ribeye. Sorry no pics. It was rich, had a buttery flavor, soft and tender texture. The table service was quick and the food was delicious.

However, some of their appliances were down so some of the items on the menu were not available.
