Ambiance is upscale and the place gets very crowded. Always go with reservation as getting table can be a challenge Or long wait. Our waiter was very attentive and was checking on us to ensure we have everything we need and are comfortable.

we had make your own taco – Tofu and shrimp which was really really tasty and portions size was good worth the money. We also a pitcher of margarita which had good amount of alcohol.
Overall i would like to come back even though it was little expensive experience.

    1. This restaurant came highly recommended. Our expectations were not very high tho.
    2. We ordered the black bean burrito and the cauliflower taco. They were decent.
    3. We also ordered the mocktails they were very fresh and incredibly tasty. Would recommend it.
    4. The ambiance was one of a kind. The booths were surprisingly large but still cozy.

The party I was with ordered meat based dishes and they said it tasted good so I guess the meat options are better than the veggie options.

We loved our meal at El Vez. Although we were not able to obtain reservations, we were able to sit outside with plenty of heat from the heat lamps. This meant we avoided the two hour wait inside. We had the pomegranate margaritas. They were yummy and had a delicious tequila flavor. We also had the black bean enchiladas. The star of the show was most definitely the chargrilled steak tacos. Others in our group got the steak and shrimp tacos and if I had to do it again, I believe that was the perfect combination. The service at El Vez was also exceptional. The food arrived promptly and piping hot.

Been here twice and we have never been disappointed!! More then a small Mexican restaurant, this place blows you away with the seasoning, textures and overall experience of their environment! Staff is amazing and so is the decor.. Drinks are made with such interesting combinations and are mouth watering.

Perhaps the best Margaritas we ever had. The food was just as spectacular. You might have to wait for a table but your food will arrive within minutes and we went on Saturday night. Energetic atmosphere.

Our family of six had an excellent Sunday brunch here. We sat outside right next to Rittenhouse Square and we enjoyed all the dishes. The kids especially loved the breads and the pastry basket. It gets quite busy, so it’s a good idea to make reservations.

The atmosphere that they created is very Parisian. It’s a beautiful restaurant with attentive staff. The food was mostly amazing. The tartare was phenomenal. It’s always a good sign of quality if tartare is good. The gazpacho, while not French, was delicious. The only disappointment was the escargot. It’s already taken out of the shell and put into a tiny cast iron pot of delicious butter but that’s mostly just to mask that there’s maybe 2 escargot and the rest is just quartered mushrooms. Overall, pretty positive experience

I think there is more hype than this spot delivers on. The food was good. The wine list was not what I expected and didn’t meet my expectations.

    The bread basket was INCREDIBLE.

    The dessert was INCREDIBLE.

The salmon was OKAY. Very average and nothing special.

The veal dish was packed with flavor and delicious.

First of all I always recommend Places like this because of the whole experience. The vibe was jazzy and had an art deco vibe.. so cool. Philly always has something to offer.. so rich in history. The beet salad was really delicious and the bread was fresh, my ice coffee was absolutely on point.. so good.

This was unbelievable! The wait was well worth it for the brunch experience. Sat outside and what an atmosphere. Every cocktail was delicious and refreshing and never overpowering. Even the bread at the beginning of the meal was mouth watering. The only way to take in the sights and sounds and start the day. Will be back as much as I can.

Great service, good food and excellent location.

They were able to accommodate us on a busy night w/o reservation by making a few changes to their tables, which I always appreciate. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were brought at the right time and in sync.

It is hard to point out our favorite dish as all of them were great! the steak with fries, which come with a fantastic salad was cooked perfectly. The salmon was juicy and very well prepared. The chicken was also very tasty and the mussels were swimming on a delicious buttery broth.

Excellent location with a great English menu and ambience that makes you feel in London, right here in Philly.

My fiancée and I were able to get a table for two in about 20 minutes on a Saturday night without reservations. We split the deviled eggs which were really really good. She got the Macaroni & Cheese with the braised ham hock and English cheddar which had the perfect balance of flavor between the ham and cheese and a nice crisp on the top. I had the Rabbit Pie which was fantastic. The pastry on top was delicious along with the filling.

The serving sizes aren’t overbearing which is nice if you are in Philly just for the day and don’t want leftovers. Between the deviled eggs, macaroni and cheese, and rabbit pie we were comfortably full. We probably could have split a dessert but didn’t want to overdo it.

Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was very cool.

    Excellent British style gastropub.

Delicious food, nice staff and great ambiance. I always try and make a stop here for a meal whenever I can.

I really enjoy the fish and chips as well as the beer selection. The homemade Ricotta and deviled eggs are wonderful as well.

Stop in if you are in Philly….you won’t be disappointed!

My meal at The Dandelion was the first time I’ve really tried any authentic British cuisine! The Welsh Rarebit was tasty, and my mom really enjoyed her chilled yellow tomato soup. I ordered the Mac and cheese (I just can’t not order mac and cheese when I see it) and the ham in it was such a tasty addition! My friend had the bangers and mash, which he loved, and my dad had a burger (forgot to take pictures of these). He was a little disappointed in the burger and thought it could’ve been more flavorful, but it was cooked perfectly. Very good service. I had knocked over my water glass and they were kind enough to come over and wipe up the spill. The atmosphere was so cool and a great prequel to my friend’s upcoming trip to London!

Excellent location – I can’t say that enough. Rittenhouse Park is a block away and gave me a great spot to relax until my friend joined me. I really liked the setting too. I ate outside, but the inside had a swanky look to it that I enjoyed. Great outdoor seating with many patrons passing by the table on a Thursday summer night. I had the fish and chips that were good (7/10). Big piece of deep friend cod and the fries were delicious wedges. My friend had the tandoori chicken and said it was good. I ordered a whisky soar but would pass on the drinks next time – just too expensive for the quantity. Overall I’d come back for the location, setting and service, and would recommend The Dandelion to anyone looking for a sit down meal in the city.
